Overview of NAFA Academic Care Mentor Programme
NAFA recognises the need to provide guidance and mentorship for all full-time students throughout their academic studies. Students who transition from a secondary educational system and environment to a tertiary educational system during their first year of studies may find the transition challenging. International students may face issues with adjusting to a new environment and culture.
An additional layer of support from academic staff to guide and mentor students on a small-group or one-on-one basis may be delivered through the Academic Care Mentor Programme, serving as an additional support and intervention measure and aim to enhance students’ well-being and experience throughout the duration of their studies.
